True story: Bryan Adams once told me that, “the song (Summer of ’69) has nothing to do with the year 1969, it’s a metaphor for summer love and the number 69 was chosen because of the sexual position.” I think even Ryan Adams would appreciate that.

Australian band Dappled Cities are preparing to release a great album called Granddance in July. Here’s a video for the song “Fire Fire Fire” that features technologically advanced polar bear effects that pretty much give Al Gore and global warming the finger.
